Job Title: Site Manager – Groundworks & Finishing (Sheffield S6) Location: Sheffield, Wadsley Start Date: 3rd December 2025 Project Type: Residential scheme, 4–11 units Contract: Temporary Duration: Until handover (End of January 2026) Overview We are seeking an experienced Site Manager with strong groundworks and finishing experience to oversee a small residential project in the S6 area of Sheffield. This project involves managing a site from early-stage works through to completion and handover. Key Responsibilities * Managing day-to-day site operations, subcontractors, and material deliveries * Overseeing groundworks, externals, and finishing stages * Ensuring compliance with H&S regulations and maintaining site documentation * Conducting progress reports, toolbox talks, and quality checks * Liaising with the project team to ensure deadlines are met * Ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to specification Requirements * Proven experience as a Site Manager on small-scale residential schemes * Strong background in groundworks and finishing * SMSTS, CSCS (Black/White), and First Aid * Ability to manage trades, schedules, and site documentation * Excellent communication and organisational skills Benefits * Competitive day rate * Opportunity to run a manageable, well-structured project * Supportive project team and clear program of works How to Apply Please submit your CV or get in touch for more information
